    Description

    Item #1:  vintage Yellow Cab brand cigar box, with a cab pictured that I would guess is from the 1930's.  On the cab pictured it says on the door "2 -4-15" but I don't think that is the date of manufacture as the cab pictured is not that early.  Each cigar cost 5 cents and the box measures 8.75" wide,  5.25" deep and  2.5" high.  Still has its federal tax stamp.  Made of heavy cardboard. Exterior in very nice conition, with some paper loss on the edges. Interior of the top has some light markings, probably from extended storage of the cigars (see photos).  Still displays well. One old cigar in the box.
    Item #2:  vintage two (2) Yellow Cab paper cigar label bands, still on the original cigars and showing a yellow cab that is much earlier cab than shown on the cigar box.  So these two band were from a Yellow Cab brand cigar that probably dated circa late1920's.  Very good condition and not offered by any other ebay seller.
