The pin features on the front the Chiropractic colors of purple and white with the slogan Keep Smiling.
This slogan and cards it was printed on became a positive emblem of practicing Chiropractors. This was especially relevant when Chiropractic practitioners often faced jail time for engaging in their profession (many were jailed for practicing medicine without a license).
