Absolutely stunning and EXCELLENT QUALITY shaped leather yearling size FLEMING STERLING SILVER western show halter! This is a beautifully made and high end vintage halter, though it is shockingly without an apparent maker’s mark. It reminds me a lot of vintage Del Varney show halters.
Measures to be APPROX. 2YO SIZE and measurements are provided below to ensure correct fit—please check them as given size is estimated and not guaranteed. Vibrant brown in color with beige stitching. 4-way adjustable. Shaped cheeks and nose to match silver. Adorned with gorgeous FLEMING STERLING SILVER OVERLAY with rope edges—silver is marked with the Fleming 214 symbol as well as “Mexico Sterling”.
Halter is in GREAT VINTAGE CONDITION overall. Gently broken in with typical, mild signs of use and wear associated with that, such as darkening/discoloration, mild wear in “high traffic areas,” patina to sterling silver, etc. Obviously well cared for and properly maintained over the years. No damage!
APPROX. MEASUREMENTS: nose is 11.75” long, cheeks are 7-5/8” long, throatlatch is 18”, and crown (when buckled up, measured from ring to ring) adjusts between 13.25” and 17.25” on shortest/longest settings. Check out my store THE DISCOUNT EQUESTRIAN for tons of great horsey deals!
