Spongeware Blue/white Bybee Signed BB Scallop Vase MINT Cond Folk Art Pottery Ky.
Mint condition vase hand thrown by Bybee Pottery in Madison Kentucky.  Bybee is no longer in production but it was one of the oldest pottery companies in the US, who began their business by producing utilitarian wares made to order, since 1849. Bybee pottery is yellow ware, and the yellow clay used to make it was harvested less than a mile from their shop where they lovingly churned out whimsical pottery pieces for generations.
The bottom is signed BB for Bybee.  It is about 4.5" tall and 4" wide and heavily sponged with blue on a white background. I am a Kentucky seller and I love talking Bybee if you have questions. Thanks!
