    Description

    Here is a very nice Grueby P
    ottery tile of a galleon ship on waves with an unusual rope border at the top. The ship is brown and ochre with white sails against a blue sky. The matte glaze colors are nicely curdled and stay within the raised lines.
    It measures 6 inches square and about 1 inch thick. (10.75" square framed) Marked only with glazer’s initials under a little concrete. It is in great condition with only minor edge or corner nicks, some losses to the back, and a little staining to the rope border. No other chips or cracks, firing flaws or repairs. The top and bottom edges are glazed . Framed in a custom arts & crafts oak frame. A really
