Early Teddy Bear-MIJ ???

Description

This little 9 inch bear could possibly be  Made in Japan. It has the same material on the soles of the feet as the rest of the body and they are reinforced with cardboard  (?) so at once time the bear could stand alone.  Since that time it has had a crude repair to one hip  which I have tried to photograph.  there is a brown patch over one eye which makes it look larger than the other.  The rocking chair comes along as they have been a pair for a long time.  Please look at the photos and ask questions before bidding as there is no return on them.  Payment is due two days after the end of the auction.  Upon receipt, I try to ship within two days.
