VERY EARLY VINTAGE
ANTIQUE JOINTED LEGS + JOINTED ARMS / SWIVEL HEAD TOY TEDDY BEAR W / PRINTED TAG
& WOOD EYES - APPEARS TO BE A CHILTERN
This Teddy Bear looks like a very early one to us, but we are not Teddy Bear experts
in any way. Some hair loss is
evident - see the photos.
Measures 14" TALL over-all.
Bear has WOOD EYES and not glass eyes.
WHAT WE FOUND INTERESTING IS THE EAR TAG - which is printed on both sides.
The one side reads or appears to read - "Ch...." and the rest of the tag is worn away.
Perhaps this is a CHILTERN TEDDY BEAR?
The Backside of the tag reads in part........
"???? COTTON HAIR ????"
Wear throughout consistent with age and use but overall
displays nicely. Please see all photos as they are part
