    Description

    Offering an unusual antique teddy bear die-cut cardboard novelty item. I don't know what it was used for and think perhaps it was on a store display for antique teddy bears. It measures 5.5" tall by 4" wide.
    This is a great-looking early teddy bear ornament made of pressed paper with a fur material and is raised and molded in the limbs and face making it appear 3D. You can see the indentation on the back side. Teddy has a tiny glass eye.
    It is all original and in excellent condition and looks to date to the early 1900s. It's an early teddy bear collectible that would be nice to display on a shelf with a bear collection. It's very strong and sturdy and displays well.  Thanks for looking. See all photos that describe it best!
