FANTASTIC Early Antique STEIFF Teddy Bear Long Arms Mohair? Glass Eye Jointed 13"T ca.1930s
Based on my research this lovely bear is attributed to the Steiff company. Unfortunately the ear with Steiff button is missing.
Description: He is stuffed with what looks like wood shavings
, a crunchy feel if squeezed. His paws have four brown threads and felt pads.
The nose/mouth is stitched with brown thread. Glass eye. He is fully jointed with round discs.The color you see in the photographs are the true color of this bear.

Condition: Good original condition, no holes or repairs noted. Unfortunately he lost one eye and one ear. Some staining on felt pads. He has age wear, fur loss and bare spots.
His head moves as well as the legs and arms, strong connection. No a bad odor/smell noted.
