1930's Japanese pin Teddy Bear - excelsior filled - approx. 16" tall. 1930s

This neat little Teddy is approx. 16" tall, his fur is orange-ish mohair and he is stuffed with excelsior. We have been told that he is most likely from a Japanese manufacturer in the 1930's due to his 'pin' jointing and general construction. He has glass amber eyes and a nicely stitched nose and mouth. His wool felt pads are all in good shape. Actually, he is in very good shape - especially considering his age with only a few spots of thinning mohair. Over all he looks very much like new and is very clean. Please note he was constructed from the factory without any toe stitching on his paws. He also doesn't have a hump on his back. He has a non-working growler. He'd be a really nice teddy for any collect to add to their collection. He looks great and presents wonderfully. Doll stand not included
